NextGene™ BP, BH, BPP Detection Kit is a real-time PCR based reagent for research use, designed to simultaneously and qualitatively detect the specific ptxA gene of Bordetella pertussis (BP), the specific hIS1001 gene of Bordetella holmesii (BH), the specific IS1001 gene of Bordetella parapertussis (BPP), and the specific IS481 gene (BP and BH only) of Bordetella species from human sputum or nasopharyngeal swab samples.
